According to data published by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in May this year, Turkey's seasonally and calendar-adjusted monthly industrial production decreased by 2.9 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar-adjusted index remained stable compared to May 2025.
In this month, Turkey's base metals production index increased by seven percent year-on-year on a monthly basis.
The index of production of finished metal products in May increased by 6.1 percent on an annual basis and decreased by 0.4 percent on a monthly basis.
