The Ministry of Commerce of China (MOC) announced that in the period from August 24 to August 30 this year, average prices for finished steel products in China increased slightly.
During the specified period, average prices for rebar, high-speed wire rod and hot-rolled steel strip increased by 0.9%, 0.8% and 0.7% per week, respectively.
Over the same period, average prices for coking coal, smokeless piece coal and thermal coal increased by 2.6%, 1.4% and 0.4% week to week, respectively.
