Swedish company Alleima has received an order to supply tubes and pipes for the Sizewell C nuclear power project in Suffolk, eastern England. The products will be used for two planned EPR1600 reactors.
Alleima’s Tube division booked the order in the fourth quarter of 2026. Deliveries are due to start in 2027 and continue for about two years. The company has not disclosed the contract value, shipment volume or exact technical specifications.
Carl von Schantz, head of Alleima’s Tube division, described the order as the start of a new customer relationship in the nuclear sector. He said equipment used close to nuclear reactors must meet stringent standards for material quality and technical performance. Alleima aims to meet those requirements through its materials expertise and manufacturing experience.
