Retail sales of new vehicles in India fell 23.8% year over year to 3.172 million units in October 2026. The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) released the figures on November 6.
Passenger vehicle sales declined 14.23% to 507,768 units. Two-wheeler sales dropped 28.35% to 2,321,419 units.
Commercial vehicle sales fell 2.39% to 115,140 units, while sales of wheeled construction equipment decreased 22% to 7,434 units.
