Indian company National aluminium will increase its production

State company National Aluminium Co. (NACL), which is the largest manufacturer of non -ferrous metal in India, can invest 50 billion rupees ($ 811 million) to increase the capacities of aluminum processing in order to increase their income, which, according to static data, fell to a three -year minimum.

In the next two years, the company will gradually increase its production capacity by 43 percent in order to achieve aluminum processing in volumes of up to 3.3 million tons per year. According to the representative of Ansuman Dasa in this metal, the country's domestic market needs, in the case of a surplus, aluminum will be exported.

The planned measures to increase the efficiency of NACL production and, accordingly, increase the profit of the company against the backdrop of a decrease in world metal prices for a second time over the past three years.

“We will make the final decision to create new lines for the production of aluminum closer to December,” Das said.

The NACL plant, with a production capacity of 460 thousand metric tons of aluminum, was repeatedly partially idle due to the lack of coal and the unprofitability of production, as a result of which the company's income has declined over the past five years. The margin from aluminum sales amounted to 45 percent in the last financial year, while the manufacture of cans for drinks and spare parts for aircraft did not bring more than 6 percent of the profit from this metal.

Since April 1, the price of aluminum has fallen by 7 percent on the London exchange of metals, which made it smiling unprofitable for most world manufacturers.
