German Consul hopes that Zaporizhstal will begin to cooperate with German companies

On October 9, the Zaporizhstal Metallurgical Plant Metinvest was visited by a delegation from Germany, headed by the consul of the republic, Detlef Voltaire. This was reported today by the press center Zaporizhstali. The delegation included German businessmen and politicians.

Delegates from Germany was met by the General Director of Zaporizhstal Rostislav Shurma. He acquainted the Germans with the progress of modernization of production and discussed with them promising areas of potential cooperation.

“Further development of Zaporizhstali implies a large -scale modernization of production and we are ready to consider the proposals of cooperation from leading companies in this field. Today, our German guests were able to familiarize themselves in detail not only with production and see the scale of the environmental modernization of the plant, but also to establish new contacts for potential cooperation,” Rostislav Shurma told guests from Germany.

In turn, the Consul General of Germany Detlef Voltaire emphasized the importance of the environmental component: "Significant measures are used to Zaporizhstal to protect the environment - this is very important during modernization," he said.

In addition to all, Detlef Voltaire expressed the interest of German companies in cooperation with the Zaporizhzhya Metallurgical Plant and noted the scale of the modernization of Zaporizhstal.
