Rinl increased revenue in September by 34 percent

Rashtriya Ispat Nigam, the largest steel company in the world of the public sector of India, said that with 63 percent of the growth of volumes of sales, 34 percent to 12.22 billion rupees in September increased. The sales volume of the company grew to 273 thousand tons from 168 thousand tons in September 2012. The added value of steel reached 17.7 million rupees compared to 13.7 million Rupia a year earlier. The volume of production of commodity steel increased by 23 percent to 246 thousand tons against 200 thousand tons a year ago. Within a month, 322 thousand tons of hot metal were produced. For the period from April to September of the current financial year, the company's sales amounted to 1.29 million tons compared with 1.1 million tons for the same period of the last financial year.

Rinl produced 1.46 million tons of commodity steel within a 6-month period, which indicates an increase of 11 percent. The production of cast iron increases by only 3 percent to 1.93 million tons. The company's revenue for the period from April to September grew slightly to 57.98 billion rupees compared to the same period of the last financial year.
