According to the Chinese Customs Service, Iran exported more than 15 million tons of iron ore to this country over the eight months of 2013. These data indicate that the Islamic Republic has become the fourth in terms of supplies to the exporter of metallurgical raw materials to China after Australia, Brazil and South Africa.
In January - August 2013, Iranian companies increased the export of iron ore raw materials to China by 36 percent.
