The Customs Service of the Russian Federation reported on the growth of Ukrainian imports of metal rolling in September 2013 at once by 7.3 percent compared to the previous month. The total number of Ukrainian steel penetrated on the territory of the "fraternal" state reached 274 thousand 200 tons, which is still 17 percent less than last year.
The low base of Augustus is to blame, they say in the market. Recall that then the Russian Federation worked out in practice measures to combat the “incorrect” import from Ukraine and temporarily tightened customs control over the import of goods and products and metallurgical companies. As a result, in August, imports rolled back to the level of January-February of this year, significantly losing with similar indicators of April-June (347 -386 thousand tons per month).
Meanwhile, Ukrainian metallurgists set a new record during bilateral trade relations with the Russian Federation. Over the first nine months of 2013, they shipped 2 million 810 thousand tons, which is 10 percent more than in the APPG-2012.
