In January - September 2013, Ukrainian consumers imported 2 million 80 thousand iron ore, which is 13 percent more than the APPG -2012 indicator. This is evidenced by the data of the customs statistics of Ukraine.
Meanwhile, in September, the import of iron ore raw materials to Ukraine decreased by 28 percent compared to August, falling to 170 thousand tons.
The export of iron ore from Ukraine in January - September 2013 amounted to 28 million 400 thousand tons, which is 8 percent more than in the APPG -2012. However, in September, the export of iron ore raw materials decreased compared to August by 3.3 percent falling to 2 million 900 thousand tons.
