The average daily production of raw steel in China in early October continued to contract, dropping another 1.34 percent in the first decade in relation to the last ten days of September. According to the CISA Metallurgical Association, the metallurgical enterprises of this country melted an average of 1 million 764 thousand 100 tons.
As of October 10, reserves of finished metal products in the warehouses of Chinese traders increased by 898 thousand 100 tons, reaching 3 million 502 thousand tons.
As reported, in September of this year, the Chinese metallurgical industry issued 65 million 420 thousand tons of steel, which is 1.3 percent less than in August.
Analysts associate the drop in production pace with seasonal expectations, explaining the slowdown in demand from the construction sector during winter frosts.
