Tokyo Steel Manoufacturing Co Ltd (Tokyo Steel) will not increase the prices of metal rolling in November, except for an acute -deficiency square pipe. This was announced to reporters by the managing director of Corporation Kesia Imamur.
The leading metallurgical company of Japan, whose price policy is closely observed by the main Asian players, will increase the price of a steel profile pipe by 20.46 US dollars (about 3 percent) in November. The prices of the remaining 14 types of rental, including the main products of Tokyo Steel - the I -Taurus, will remain unchanged.
“Prices for construction metal rolls will increase in the long run,” says Imamura. “But first we will see how the market will respond to raising prices made last month.”
The rapid growth of steel production in China will exert great pressure on the entire Asian market, according to the head of Tokyo Steel. So far, there was no increase in imports of imports, but if we raise prices, Chinese steel will pour here at old prices, he emphasized.
Recall that the production of steel in Japan has updated the five -year maximum, having reached 27 million 720 thousand tons in the third quarter of this year.
