The total import of stainless steel to the EU countries in the first six months of 2013 increased by 15 percent, to 652 thousand 200 tons. Including the import of hot -rolled leaf rolled rolled a 30 percent of up to 123 thousand tons, cold -rolled - 19 percent, up to 353 thousand 600 tons and varietal stainless steel - by 0.3 percent, up to 175 thousand 500 tons.

The beginning and the first half of the current year was marked for the EU for the next reduction in the production of stainless steel, by 4.3 percent - up to 3 million 907 thousand tons. Obviously, this is due to the rapidly growing inexpensive import.

The export of stainless steel rental countries in the first half of 2013 compared with the APPG-2012 decreased by 11 percent and amounted to 1 million 64 thousand 700 tons, including the supply of flat hot rolled rental to 343 thousand 200 tons, and varietal rental-by 6.0 percent to 352 thousand tons. The export of cold -rolled rental increased slightly - by 0.9 percent and amounted to 369 thousand 200 tons.
