The capital of ferrous metallurgy of the Russian Federation, the city of Magnitogorsk entered the top 100 cities with the best quality of life. Moreover, the city in which the largest metallurgical enterprise in Russia works, at the end of 2012, the eighth line of the rating, leaving far behind Moscow (48th place) and St. Petersburg (19th place).
The winners were selected depending on the degree of provision of housing, the loading of the transport system, the availability of modern consumption formats, the level of crime, the level of expenses and the purchasing power of the population. The rating was prepared by the Union of Architects of Russia and the Institute of Territorial Planning of Urbanik.
The winner among Russian cities in the quality of life was Krasnodar. Closes the list of the top 100 Makhachkala, Biysk and Komsomolsk-on-Amur.
