To ensure uninterrupted gas transit by the country's territory, Ukraine pumps into underground storage facilities the amount of natural gas in the history of the GTS. This was stated at a meeting in Gorki on non -payments by the head of Gazprom Alexei Miller.
This year, 18 billion cubic meters of gas will enter the underground vaults of Ukraine, while in 2012 21 billion cubic meters were received there.
“And this despite the fact that 5 billion cubic meters were sold to Ukraine at a low price,” the head of Gazprom was indignant. Miller recalled that specially “under download” the price of one cubic meter of gas was reduced to $ 269.
According to Alexei Miller, everything suggests that the situation with payment for gas from Ukraine will only worsen. He recalled that Russia pre -paid gas transit through the territory of Ukraine until January 2015.
Recall that the other day, Alexei Miller said that Ukraine did not fully pay for the August gas supply. According to him, unpaid debt is $ 882 million. Ostchem group Dmitry Firtash, which went to the notorious 5 billion cubic meters at a discount, curled that it fully fulfills the terms of previously concluded contracts for the purchase of Russian gas.
