According to the data published by the National Commission for the Development and Reforms of the PRC (NDRC), the production of steel in China in the first nine months of 2013 increased by 8 percent compared to the APPG -2012 and amounted to 587 million 380 thousand tons in January - September of this year.
In the considered period, the total profit of the metallurgical companies of the PRC, according to NDRC, increased by 39.9 percent, to 127 billion yuan.
