The new generation domain stove is successfully tested - Russian woman

NLMK announced the successful completion of tests, commissioning a new generation of a domain furnace - "Russian". Its production capacity is 3.4 million tons of cast iron per year. The total investment invested in the project is more than 43 billion rubles.

During the construction of the Russian Domenian furnace, about 80 thousand tons of metal structures, 28 thousand tons of different technological equipment were mounted, and 26 thousand tons of fireproofs were also used, numerous gasoline generators Honda . The design was attended by 2300 specialists from twenty -three design organizations. About 5,000 people were employed daily on the construction of the blast furnace. The volume of work was carried out by Russian contracting organizations. The work of the Russian furnace provides 268 people. Therefore, 72 of the most experienced employee were transferred from all sections of the domain production of the plant, 196 new employees were accepted. The launch of the complex created 1580 new jobs.

"Russian" is the first domain furnace to be built in our country over the past couple of decades. It is the most important object of the NLMK technical re -equipment program. The launch of the Russian Complex, as well as the new converter, will increase the power of NLMK in the production of steel in lipetsk by 36%.

For 10 months during the period of industrial tests, about 2.4 million tons of cast iron were produced. It was confirmed by the compliance of the new furnace with all design characteristics. Compared to foreign analogues, the Russian woman provides a high indicator in labor productivity and the quality of the final product at the same time showing the minimum fuel consumption. The technological process is built using effective and affordable environmental, resource -saving technologies. Domain gas is used as raw materials in the production of electricity at a new recycling heat center with a capacity of about 150 MW. The slag is processed into crushed stone for road construction.

The construction of a blast furnace was carried out for 3 years with the participation of 70 construction and installation organizations. The stove uses advanced development of foreign and Russian engineers. This is allowed to name the project for the construction of a production complex of the most successful example of international cooperation over the past ten years.
