French unions are forcing the government to abandon the labor reform previously introduced by the cabinet. The staff of the Eiffel Tower have now joined them.
The reform involves expanding the rights of enterprises to dismiss personnel in the event of economic problems. At the same time, the French government insists that this measure is necessary for the prosperity of business, but the trade unions strongly disagree with this and insist on changes in the reform.
Workers from the Eiffel Tower joined the protests today. As a result, the main attraction of Paris will be closed to tourists all day.
Mass protests will take place in the French capital in the near future, as well as in other large cities, despite the European Football Championship Euro 2016.
