More than 6 million springs and stabilizers will be produced by the plant that ThyssenKrupp will build in Hungary. The investment will amount to 35 million euros.
Construction of the plant will begin in the spring in Debrecen. A plant with an area of 20 thousand square meters. m. assumes the creation of 250 jobs. The start of production is scheduled for 2018.
In recent years, Hungary has become an important region for the European automotive industry. In the past four years alone, production of passenger cars in Hungary has more than doubled to 500,000 vehicles, said Carsten Kroos, managing director of ThyssenKrupp.
The company is investing heavily in Hungary. In 2013, she opened a transmission plant in Gyьr. Construction of an engine plant began in Budapest last year. The investment is expected to reach 100 million euros.
The company is also at its research center in Budapest, working on electromechanical systems, employing 1,500 engineers and programmers.
