Dnipro metallurgists have created a spinner that can enter the Ukrainian Book of Records as the largest spinner in the country. The record will be recorded at the festival of science, technology and modern technologies Interpipe TechFest in Dnipro on September 16-17.
The weight of the record-breaking spinner is almost 3 tons. The design is exactly the same as the popular toy. It is made of three railway wheels, which are connected by a special metal part. The diameter of rotation is 2.6 m. The spinner will rotate thanks to the gearbox. Rotation speed - 3.76 m.
Developed and produced a spinner at the Interpipe NTZ plant.
“The idea of creating the largest spinner in Ukraine was born after the Day of Metallurgist. For many years, Interpipe enterprises have a tradition - for their professional holiday, our employees make sculptures from scrap metal. Spinner is a trend that has conquered the whole world. We have made our interpretation, our own unique version, which in terms of size has every chance to set a new record, ”noted Dmitry Kisilevsky, Director for Corporate Relations at Interpipe.
The spinner-record holder will be presented to the public for the first time at the festival of science, technology and modern technologies Interpipe TechFest, which will take place on September 16-17 in Dnipro in the Avalanche amusement park.
The record will be fixed on Saturday, September 16, at 14:00.
