A new director has been appointed to Intertype Vtormet

Valentin Makarenko became the director of the scrap processing enterprise Intertype Vtormet. Previously, for 2 years, Makarenko held the position of commercial director. The main goal of working in the new position is to provide INTERPIPE STEEL with scrap metal necessary for the full-fledged operation of metallurgical production.

In this regard, the General Director of Interpipe Fadi Hraybe said the following: “Scrap harvesting is a key business for the vertically integrated production of Interpipe. The work in this area is complicated by the lack of raw materials in the country. With the appointment of Mr. Makarenko, we are returning to a management model, where the entire scrap business - both procurement and processing of scrap - have a single subordination. We believe that at the moment such a management system will be more effective. This appointment is one of the steps towards shaping the management structure of the steel division. "
