In the first half of 2018, Zaporizhstal allocated UAH 1.9 billion to the budget

According to the results for the first half of 2018, Zaporizhstal became one of the 100 largest taxpayers.

In the first half of 2018, large taxpayers of the Zaporizhzhya region allocated more than UAH 7.5 billion to the budgets. For the first six months of this year, Zaporizhstal transferred about UAH 1.9 billion to the consolidated budget. The plant sent over UAH 331 million to the local budget.

“The main donor of the state budget is business. Accordingly, the state must create transparent and comfortable conditions for doing business in the country. Add to these factors investment attractiveness - and the economy will grow, new jobs will be created, and Ukrainians themselves will see opportunities not abroad, but within their own country, ”said Rostislav Shurma, General Director of Zaporizhstal.

In 2017, the plant sent over UAH 3.2 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels.
