Ukraine produced 2.8 million tons of coal in September

In September 2018, Ukraine produced almost 2.8 million tons of coal, which is 1.5% less than planned. This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.

“In September 2018, 2 781 626 tons of coal were produced at coal mining enterprises of Ukraine of all forms of ownership. The plan was fulfilled by 98.5%, according to the report.

In particular, mines subordinated to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry produced 328,539 tons of coal, which is 89.4% of the plan, or 39,061 tons less than the target plan.

The report also notes that coal mines of all types of ownership have produced 24,849,087 tonnes of coal since the beginning of the year, exceeding the planned target by 588,637 tonnes of coal.

Since the beginning of the year, mines subordinated to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry have produced 3,148,421 tons of coal (89.9% of the plan).
