Dneprospetsstal: results of April 2019

In April 2019, PrJSC Electrometallurgical Plant DNEPROSPETSSTAL named after I. A.N. Kuzmina ”delivered 20,710 tons of steel, which is 2.2% higher than the level of the previous month. During the same period, the Company produced 12,980 tons of rolled metal, which is 2.8% more than in March 2019.

The total cost of commercial products manufactured in April 2019 amounted to UAH 773,146 thousand. (at current prices). This is 5.4% more than last month. Over the four months of 2019, the Company delivered 72,334 tonnes of steel (15.5% less than in the same period last year) and produced 47,789 tonnes of rolled metal (16.4% less than in the same period last year).

For four months of 2019, the production of commercial products amounted to 2 860 998 thousand UAH, which is 11.9% less than the same period in 2018.

According to the results of work for the period January-April 2019, the profitability indicator for the plant is negative.
