Huaiye Technology launches continuous hot rolling project in Uzbekistan

Lida Metal Technology has conducted thermal testing of a hot rolling project in Uzbekistan.

This was the first phase of the project and a rebar production line with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons will be built. The second phase of the annual production capacity will reach 500,000 tons.

Within the framework of the project, a 30-ton electric arc furnace was commissioned and fittings were manufactured. After successful commissioning, the plant could become the largest steel plant in Uzbekistan.

Lida Metal was a subsidiary of Jiangsu Huaiye Technology, whose main exporters were Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
