According to the news last week, imports of hot rolled coils (HRC) in the Vietnamese market have been active, with about 3-4 million tonnes being made from India.
Vietnamese buyers were very interested in lowering prices at Indian factories. However, due to the strict policy of limiting production, Chinese factories moved their main business to the domestic market.
Traders noted that Vietnamese buyers were constantly looking for a workable replacement for the Indian or Russian HRC as China's December supply was relatively high.
