According to statistics, world steel production in October fell by 2.8% to 152 million tons, while volumes declined in all regions. This also applies to the production of unrefined steel and finished metal products in Ukraine. Along with this, the Sozidatel company from a warehouse in Dnipro successfully sells rolled pipes throughout Ukraine. The company has established itself as a reliable supplier of thin-walled pipes. The range of pipes offered on https://www.sozidatel.com.ua/ploskoovalnaya-truba includes round, rectangular and square pipes, arched, oval and flat-oval pipes.
China's steel production declined 0.6% year-on-year in October, mainly due to declines in production before and after National Day, but China's steel production still accounted for more than half of global production. China has been the world leader in steel production for many years.
Although China has currently limited plant capacity until March 2020 due to overcapacity in early 2019, the projected volume this year will still grow 7.6% to 746 million tonnes.
US steel production in October also fell by about 2% to 7.4 million tonnes as the impact of anti-dumping measures gradually eased.
Production in the EU fell by about 8.7%, but the EU only limited import quotas, which led to excess production in local factories and affected the profitability of suppliers.
India, the world's third largest steel producer, has boosted production by about 3% to 84.2 million tonnes this year. Japan's October volume fell 5%, in part due to typhoons, while its current capacity fell 3.9% to 75.6 million tonnes.
Given the trade conflict between China and the United States, it prompted the Chinese government to provide more incentive programs for domestic infrastructure. On the other hand, measures to protect US imports could raise domestic prices to support local steel mills.
