Iranian steel exports reached about 5.2 million tonnes during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 to December 21, 2019), an increase of 19% over the same period. the previous year.
Iranian Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Jafar Sarkini said the ministry had taken the necessary measures to preserve Iranian metal exports, although the United States imposed sanctions on them.
The minister said that steel production in Iran in 2019 amounted to 25 million tons, and in the current Iranian year this figure will reach 30 million tons, and in the next two Iranian years it will reach 45 million tons.
