Metalloinvest launches ball rolling complex at OEMK

Metalloinvest launched a rolling mill at OEMK. The ball rolling shop will produce about 43,000 tons of grinding balls for the needs of the Company's enterprises. The project also takes into account the possibility of manufacturing and shipping a new product to third-party customers. The construction of the ball rolling mill began in September 2019, while Metalloinvest invested about 1 billion rubles in the project. The Chinese engineering company WISDRI supplied key processing equipment. The new production complex has created 85 new jobs at the enterprise.

Grinding balls are used to grind ore in ball mills in mining and processing plants. Grinding balls with a diameter of 100-120 mm, weighing 4.6 and 8 kg of the 2nd and 3rd groups of hardness according to GOST 7524-2015 will be manufactured at OEMK.
