Interpipe entered the Turkish premium pipes market

The Ukrainian industrial company INTERPIPE delivered the first delivery to Turkey of premium pipes with a UPJ-F sleeveless connection, which meets the highest level of CAL IV requirements.

This order was difficult to fulfill, as the end user, the Turkish Oil Company (TPAO), put forward additional technical requirements, for example, strict regulation of the chemical composition of steel, phosphating of pipe ends, etc.

In addition, a Turkish customer has made special demands on the UPJ-F male thread to be abraded.

Entering the Turkish premium pipes market is a key stage in the Company's development. Recall that recently a large gas field was discovered in Turkey in the Black Sea. Therefore, Interpipe expects to take part in tenders to provide this field with premium products.

The first delivery of UPJ-F to Turkey will strengthen our position in this premium connection market. Our strategy is to increase shipments of premium products all over the world.
