Zaporizhstal reduces production of rolled metal

One of the largest industrial enterprises in Ukraine, the Zaporizhstal plant, over the past 11 months of this year, reduced the production of rolled metal by 5.2% to 2 million 915.4 thousand tons compared to the same period last year.

According to the press release of the plant, steel smelting in January-November 2020 decreased by 6.4% - to 3 million 438.1 million tons, while pig iron production increased by 2.7% - to 4.073 million tons

In November, 387.6 thousand tons of pig iron, 329.2 thousand tons of steel and 275.1 thousand tons of rolled metal were smelted, while a month earlier production amounted to 399 thousand tons, 327 thousand tons and 270.7 thousand tons, respectively.

The main consumers of the products are manufacturers of welded pipes, enterprises of automobile, transport, agricultural machinery, manufacturers of household appliances.
