As the price of steel in China has recently risen, the Chinese company Baosteel announced that its hot rolled coil (HRC) price will remain unchanged for August.
According to the previous chart, Vietnamese Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation (FHS) will announce the price for September yesterday (July 12). However, the FHS did not release any news for the September price.
Due to the current soft import price for HRC, the FHS has a large price gap. Therefore, the FHS is at a loss to announce a new price for September. The FHS was expected to postpone the new price until the end of this week, and the firm may follow Baosteel's pricing policy to maintain the same price for September.
