The Sinar Pipe Plant increases the quality control of the produced pipes

The Sinar Pipe Plant carries out technical re -equipment of the pipe rolling shop and workshop
for the production of oil and gas tubes. The project is aimed at improving the quality of the pipes produced. One of the stages of the project is the improvement of flawshotoscopy of welds and methods for monitoring the outer and inner surface of the pipes.

To achieve the goals, the sections of non -destructive and ultrasound control are modernized. Existing equipment is supplemented by magnetoindic flaw detectors and devices for the paint -mark of defects. Specialized equipment of Uralniti has been developed and produced. Currently, new devices have already been installed and a new complex is tested.

The entire amount of preparatory work preceding the launch of new equipment in production is scheduled to be completed in January 2013. Introduced devices will allow not only to monitor defects, but also to determine the thickness in a contactless way, and to sort low -quality pipes.
