Brazil exported 37.614 million tons of iron ore (excluding pellets) and 2.628 million tons of pellets in December, which compares with 33.122 million tons and 1.342 million tons in November.
Iron ore exports were headed to Asia (32.886 million tons, of which 28.203 million tons) to China), The Middle East (1.977 million tons), Europe (1.172 million tons) and Africa (675.6 thousand tons), smaller volumes were sent to Mexico and Argentina.
Pellet exports were sent to Asia (1.233 million tons), Africa (783.7 thousand tons), Trinidad and Tobago (164.2 thousand tons), Europe. (156,500 tons), USA (156,300 tons) and Argentina (134,900 tons).
In 2025, Brazil exported 392.6 million tons of iron ore compared to 362.6 million tons in 2024.
