The chief economist and senior vice president of the World Bank Kaushik Basik said that the economy of India could grow by about 6% in 2013.
“There are very difficult times for the global economy. The World Bank 1 expects a slightly less than 6%from the Indian growth economy,” Bas said at a conference at Deshmukh Memorial Lecture.
The official forecast of the World Bank for the global economy is scheduled to be published on January 15, 2013. A deterioration in the forecasts of leading world economies for the next financial year is expected by an average of 2-3%.
