Today, Prime Minister of Ukraine Nikolai Azarov, together with the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Vladimir Rybak, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Andrei Klyuyev and, accompanied by members of the government, deputies and authorities of Kyiv, took part in the Christmas Molebne in the Holy Assumption-Pechersk Lavra, the press center of the Ukrainian government reported.
Recall that recently the Prime Minister of Ukraine Nikolai Azarov was awarded the highest church award - the distinction of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church at number 002.
According to the press service of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, he awarded the head of government on January 4, Metropolitan of Vyshgorod and Chernobylsky, the governor of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra. “The award was awarded for special merits to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church,” the report said.
