Algeria and Qatar on Monday signed an agreement on the construction of a large metallurgical plant in three hundred kilometers east of the capital of Algeria. As stated in a message in the city of Bella, a metallurgical plant with a capacity of 10 million tons of steel per year will be built.
The corresponding agreement was signed by representatives of the two countries in the presence of President Algeria Abelaziz Butfliki and Emir Katar Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Tani. The estimated cost of the project is not disclosed.
