Reconstruction of the historical center of Cherepovets.
Anyone who visited Cherepovets about five years ago may not recognize this city when they return there today. In the Rosstat quality of life rating in 2024, Cherepovets took 11th place among large cities.
Firstly, Sovetsky Prospekt and Revolution Square were reconstructed. The facades were restored, the road was renovated, comfortable sidewalks and bike paths were created, it was made convenient, including for low-mobility citizens, and the architectural ensemble "kriuli" was illuminated – one of the business cards of Cherepovets. And the square has become a space for quiet relaxation with walking routes and green corridors. There you can relax with a view of the Cathedral Hill and walk down to the embankment of the Sheksna River.
Two large sports facilities: the Serpentine family park, where, among other things, the first pump track and skate park for two disciplines were built in the Vologda region, and the Gritinskaya Gorka ski complex with a completely new quality of trails and their snowmaking system.
