In partnership with the German software developer Smart Steel Technologies (SST), the German manufacturer Stevessenkrupp successfully launched an intellectual planning system designed to increase automation, efficiency and quality of products in its modernized production network in Duysburg-Brookhausen.
The new era in the production of steel
The new software solution automatically controls the planning for one of the most advanced networks of steel plants in Europe. This network includes:
- continuous casting line No. 4
- of hot stripes No. 4 (fully modernized)
Thanks to the integration of automation and fast -acting planning, Thyssenkrupp Steel has significantly increased the level of production planning. Technologies
SST planning system was developed and tested in close cooperation before putting in production. Project managers noted the project as a “powerful impulse for the digital future of the steel industry.”
Smart Steel Technologies will continue to engage in both maintenance and the future development of the planning platform, ensuring long -term adaptability and technological updates.
