Car sales in Turkey increased by 9.2 percent in January-September 2025

In September of this year, sales of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles in Turkey increased by 25.7 percent annually and 8.5 percent month-on-month to 110,302 units, according to statistics released by Turkish Automotive Distributors and the Mobility Association (ODMD). In this month, domestic passenger car sales in Turkey increased by 26.8 percent per year and 7.4 percent per month to 88,274 units, while sales of light commercial vehicles increased by 21.7 percent per year and 13.3 percent per month to 22,028 units. 9.2 percent per year, is 922,647 units. In the period, domestic passenger car sales increased by 10.0 percent to 742,687 units, while light commercial vehicle sales increased by 5.9 percent to 184,960 units, both year-on-year.
