South Korea’s Korea Trade Commission (KTC) has issued a final affirmative determination in its investigation into imports of Chinese zinc-coated cold-rolled coil. It recommended five-year antidumping duties ranging from 22.34% to 33.67% and accepted price undertakings from 10 exporters.
The recommended rates are unchanged from the provisional measures. The duty is set at 22.34% for Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Union and its affiliates, 26.28% for Shougang Jingtang and its affiliates, and 33.67% for Winstone Development. The rate for other suppliers is 25.75%.
Price undertakings were accepted from Baotou, Shougang and Baoshan Iron & Steel, among others. Provisional duties at the same rates took effect on June 12 and were scheduled to expire on October 11, 2026.
The investigation was launched in November 2025 following an application by South Korean companies Dongkuk Coated Metal, KG Steel and SeAH Coated Metal.
