In the first eight months of this year, Colombia exported 93,336 tons of ferronickel, down 7.4 percent, worth $310.24 million, down 14.2 percent from last year, as announced by the Colombian National Administrative Statistics Department (DANE). In August alone, Colombian ferronickel exports totaled 12,527 tons, down 15.9 percent, and totaled $40.01 million, down 33.6 percent year-on-year.
