Ş (Cemtas) has announced financial and operating results for the first nine months of this year.
In the period, the company reported a net profit of 24.25 million Turkish liras ($577,518), compared with a net loss of 25.19 million Turkish liras in the first nine months of the previous year, while its sales revenue totaled 4.71 billion Turkish liras ($112.17 million), down 18.8 percent. on an annual basis. In addition, the operating profit of Çemtaş for the first nine months of the year amounted to 446 million Turkish liras ($10.62 million), which is less than the operating profit of 744.19 million Turkish liras recorded for the same period in 2024.
In the period from January to September, the company's steel ingot production amounted to 119,871 tons, an increase of 3.5%, while rolled products increased by 2.7% to 109,069 tons year-on-year.
Meanwhile, in the first nine months, Çemtaş's sales to the domestic market decreased by 13.2 percent year-on-year to 65,437 tons, while its export sales increased by 23.1 percent to 38,094 tons compared to the same period last year.
