Producer prices in French industry decreased by 0.2 percent in September 2025 compared to August

In September of this year, producer prices in French industry decreased 0.2 percent month-on-month and rose 0.1 percent year-on-year, according to statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Research (INSEE). Producer prices for industrial products in France rose 0.1 percent in September compared with August and rose 1.2 percent year-on-year.

In this month, prices for exported industrial products decreased by 0.2 percent, while prices for exported transport equipment decreased by 0.3 percent, month-on-month. Year-on-year in September, prices for exported industrial products decreased by 0.4 percent, while prices for exported transport equipment increased by 0.3 percent.

Meanwhile, import prices for industrial products in France rose 0.1 percent month-on-month in September and decreased 0.5 percent year-on-year.
