Siderperu's net profit increase in the third quarter of 2025

Peruvian steel producer Siderperu announced a net profit of 47.5 million PEN (US$14.09 million) in the third quarter of 2025, up 6.03 percent from the third quarter of 2024.

Net sales revenue decreased by 0.61 percent to 624.4 million PEN, production costs decreased by 0.86 percent to 531.8 PEN. Gross profit increased by 0.82 percent to 92.6 million PEN, and operating profit increased by 3.25 percent to 78.2 million PEN.According to the company, the increase in net profit reflects a good operating result combined with a reduction in financial costs and losses related to the exchange rate.  Siderperu, controlled by the Brazilian Gerdau Group, has an estimated production capacity of 750,000 tons per year, mainly long products. $=PEN 3.37 (November 3rd)
