Aceros Arequipa's net profit rose sharply in the third quarter of 2025

Peruvian steel producer Aceros Arequipa reported a net profit of 91 million PEN (US$26.8 million) for the third quarter of 2025, up 131.6 percent from the third quarter of 2024.

Net sales increased 6.0 percent to PEN 1.198 billion, production costs increased 3.1 percent to PEN 1.003 billion, gross profit increased 23.7 percent to PEN 195.5 million, and operating profit increased 28.8 percent to PEN 121.4 million.

According to the company, the higher net profit mainly reflects improved operating performance combined with positive results in subsidiaries and lower financing costs.

Arequipa's annual production capacity is 1.2 million tons per year, in a wide range of long products, including wire rods, rebars and beams.
