Production for the week ended November 1, 2025 decreased 0.4 percent compared to the previous week ended October 25, 2025, when production was 1.747 million net tons, and the capacity utilization rate was 76.3 percent.
For the week ended November 1, 2024, production was 1.593 million net tons and capacity utilization was 71.7 percent. Production this week represents a 9.2 percent increase year-over-year.
Adjusted production year-to-date through November 1, 2025 was 75.470 million net tons with a capacity utilization rate of 77.0 percent. This is up 3.0 percent from 73.298 million net tons in the same period last year, when the capacity utilization rate was 75.8 percent.
