The Ukrainian metallurgical plant Zaporizhstal, owned by Metinvest, announced production results for October and the first ten days of 2025.
In October, Zaporizhstal produced 302,500 tons of pig iron, 275,400 tons of steel and 204 900 tons of finished steel, an increase of 14.4 percent, 14.1 percent and 18.9 percent year-on-year, respectively.
In January-October of this year, Zaporizhstal's pig iron production amounted to 2.94 million tons, an increase of 14.9 percent year-on-year, while the production of steel and finished steel steel amounted to 2.66 million tons and 2.29 million tons, respectively, an increase of 10 percent and 14.5 percent year on year.
