During the period, Turkey imported 2.70 million tons of scrap from the United States, down 20.7 percent year-on-year, with the United States being the leading source of scrap imports to Turkey, ahead of the Netherlands, which supplied 2.10 million tons in the period, up 3.5 percent year-on-year, and the United Kingdom, which supplied 1.62 million tons of scrap, which is 1.1 percent more year-on-year.
