Nippon Steel Corporation of Japan has announced consolidated financial and operating results for the first half of the year ended September 30, 2025-26 fiscal year.
For the period, the company recorded a net loss of 98.91 billion yen (643.73 million US dollars) compared to a net profit of 259.07 billion yen for the same period of the previous year, while its net profit was 259.07 billion yen for the same period of the previous year. Sales totaled 4.64 trillion yen (US$30.20 billion), an increase of 5.8 percent from net sales of 4.38 trillion yen in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year.
